Join the One Acre Fund Investment Council for lunch and engaging discussion where you’ll learn how to be a better advocate for hunger. Our speaker, hunger advocate Patti-Marshman Goldblatt, will talk about the growing movement of corporations, institutions and individuals who have joined together to make hunger history. They’ll explore the opportunities and challenges of building public and political will in the United States. You’ll see the relationship between advocacy and the One Acre Fund and how we use markets to address the root cause of global hunger.
About The Speaker
Patti Marshman-Goldblatt is on the executive board of the The Alliance to End Hunger and consults with major corporations on how to engage hunger through their corporate social responsibility efforts. She is a business professional with expertise in the field of Global Sustainability. Ms. Marshman-Goldblatt is a past participant in the United Nations World Food Programme and the World Economic Forum. She holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, and is a graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honors BA in Economics and International Relations. Patti is an effective and passionate advocate for hunger issues domestic and abroad. She continues to make a positive difference through connecting the resources of community, consumers, corporations, the media and NGO’s -resulting in an environment where all people, planet and profits can thrive.
