Global Donor profiles
Chicago is home to thousands of donors—individuals, families, foundations, and corporations—who give globally. They are committed to using their philanthropic resources to combat the global HIV/AIDS crisis, provide basic services for refugees, or fighting poverty by supporting emerging entrepreneurs in rural areas. They are drawn to support work in countries from India to South Africa to El Salvador.
Whether they have been giving globally for decades, or making their first donations in a country they are newly drawn to, Chicago's global donors have much to share with other donors—both experienced and emerging. In these Global Donor Profiles, we hope they will share the lessons they've learned, the experiences that have shaped their global giving, and the challenges that have humbled them.
